With Jesus in the morning
Offer everything to the Lord as the widow of the Gospel, “she has thrown in everything she had to live” (Luke 21:1-4). “The poor are not only people to whom we can give something…The widow who throws two small coins into the temple treasury is an example of the generosity of one who, even having little or nothing, gives everything” (Pope Francis). Are you generous? How do you use your time and your possessions? When you share, what is it that drives you to share? With Jesus during the day
Take a moment to see how your heart is doing today. “Each of us is the widow and the rich man at the same time. In our hands we have the opportunity to give everything, or to give what is left over. The Lord has everything, but there is something He needs, our yes to Him. Mary gave a resounding yes and gave the Lord her whole existence and is ‘blessed have all generations called to her’. Are we going to give him what he asks for today?” (Pope Francis). How much of you do you give in what you share? Renew your offering.

Review your day. Pass all of your experiences through the heart and thank the Lord for what he gave you today. Who needed your hands, your word, a hug, your smile, or your presence? Who today needed you to be the face of God? Could you make God present in the lives of others? Offer your life and prepare to serve your neighbor tomorrow. Hail Mary…
