イエスと出会うために、日々の活動から少し距離を取りましょう。「現実を別の見方で見つめるためにペースを緩め、前向きで持続可能な進歩をとりまとめ、そして同時に、わたしたちの限りのない誇大妄想によって荒廃してしまった諸価値と大いなる目的を再生することはきわめて重要なことです」（教皇フランシスコ）。歯止めの利かない技術の進歩は、どのような人的コストと自然への損害をわたしたちにもたらしているでしょうか。あなたは友情を育んでいますか。あなたは自分の絆を育むことに時間を費やしていますか。神との出会いこそは、わたしたちの人間関係を癒すことができます。この日の捧げを続けましょう。

With Jesus in the morning
Start the day by letting yourself be looked at by the Lord and offer what is given to you. “The Son of man has come to seek and to save what was lost” (Luke 19:1-10). “Jesus stopped, he did not rush past him, he looked at him without haste, he looked at him with peace. He looked at him with eyes of mercy; He looked at him like no one had ever looked at him before. And that gaze opened his heart, set him free, healed him, gave him hope, a new life” (Pope Francis). With Jesus during the day
Take distance from your daily activities to meet Jesus. “It is essential to slow down to look at reality in a different way, collect positive and sustainable advances, and at the same time recover the values and great goals devastated by our unrestrained delusions of grandeur.” (Pope Francis). What human costs and damage to nature does unbridled technological progress leave us? Do you cultivate your friendships? Do you spend time cultivating your bonds? Encountering God can heal our human relationships. Continue with your offering for this day.

Still the heart and calm your thoughts. Thank God for one more day. Where do you put your love throughout the day? Do you recognize that you could love someone more and better? Do you feel rejection or attachment to something or someone? Getting right in love is the path of freedom and fulfillment.
