主に祈り、あなたの生活を捧げながら、この一日を始めましょう。「まして神は、昼も夜も彼に叫び求めている選ばれた人たちのために裁きを行わずに、彼らをいつまでもほうっておかれることがあろうか」（ルカ18：1-8）。主に祈ることは、日々培われ、また変わらぬ忠実さを必要とする関係性にほかなりません。絶えず主と結ばれ、人生を主と分かち合うならば、あなたの信仰は強められ、あなたの奉仕は愛において成長してゆきます。祈りの中で主と関わり合う頻度はどのくらいですか。主との関係において、あなたはどれくらいの親しさと確信を感じていますか。教皇の意向のために今日一日をお捧げしましょう。天におられる…

この午後、少し休憩を取りましょう。教皇は次のように語っています。「能力の拡大には、何の苦もなく次々に進歩していくと信じる傾向があります…まるで現実、善、真実が同じ技術的・経済的な力から自然に生まれてくるかのように」。技術的手段はわたしたちがほとんど瞬間的ないろいろなものを獲得することを可能にしますが、こうした動きは聖霊のリズムには当てはまりません。聖霊の力動性は、少しずつ、穏やかに、創造を成し遂げる芸術家の力動性なのです。いつものように、また今日も、聖霊の力の中に忍耐強くとどまることを続けましょう。その努力は決して無駄になりません。

With Jesus in the morning
Start the day praying to the Lord and offering your life. “And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?” (Lk 18, 1-8). Prayer to the Lord is a relationship that is cultivated every day and requires constancy. Your faith is strengthened and your service grows in love if you remain united with the Lord and share your life with Him. How often do you relate to the Lord in prayer? With Jesus during the day
Take a break this afternoon. The Pope tells us that “there is a tendency to believe that any increase in power constitutes progress without further ado … as if reality, good and truth spontaneously spring from the same technological and economic power.” The almost instantaneous acquisitions that technological means give us do not apply to the rhythms of the Spirit, whose dynamics are those of the artist, who little by little, calmly, is achieving his creation. Continue strengthening today, as every day, your perseverance in the strength of the Spirit, for which no effort is in vain.

Pick up your week and discover how God has sought you out. Be grateful for what was received: good humor, health, beauty, your ability to work. Look how you have lived. Have you acted with inner freedom? Discover some reality, weaknesses of character, person or situation that has taken away your inner freedom.
