感謝の気持ちをもって一日を始めましょう。「ほかの九人はどこにいるのか」（ルカ17:11-19）。わたしたちが生きる現代社会の兆候の1つは、商品と消費への飽くなき欲望によって心が逸らされることによって生まれる、忘恩です。頂いたものについて考え、落ち着いて神に感謝する時間を取っていますか。早いペースで進むことは、物事を味わうことを妨げます。急ぐことをやめて、感謝をするための上質な時間を作るようにしましょう。主に何を感謝したいですか。神からの恵みに気づき、福音書に出てくる重い皮膚病を患っていた人のように、主を賛美するために引き返しましょう。教皇の今月の意向に今日一日を捧げましょう。天におられる…

日中イエスと共に
今日の活動から離れて、心を休めましょう。「人類が今ほど自分を支配する力を手にしたことはなく、特に今人類が自分たちに対して行っていることを考えると、人類がその力を良い方向に用いるということは誰も保証できないのです」（教皇フランシスコ）。決断することは愛を具体的なものにすることであり、より自由になることです。大事なのはテクノロジーではなく、それを使う人々の決断なのです。あなたはテクノロジーをどう使っていますか。あなたはきちんと識別をしていますか。それともテクノロジーの奴隷になってしまっていますか。今日の意向を胸に、今日の活動を続けましょう。

With Jesus in the morning
Start the day with a grateful heart. “Where are the other nine?” (Luke 17:11-19). One of the signs of our modern society, distracted by its accelerated desire for production and consumption, is ingratitude. Do you take time to ponder what was received, calm down, and thank the Lord? The fast pace prevents you from enjoying things. Stop speeding and give yourself some quality time to give thanks. Take distance from today’s activities to give your heart rest. “Never has humanity had so much power over itself and nothing guarantees that it will use it well, especially if one considers the way it is doing it” (Pope Francis). Deciding is the way to make love concrete and to become more free. It is not about technology but about the decisions of those who use it. How are you using technology? Do you discern or does technology enslave you? Continue with today’s intention.

Pick yourself up. Be aware of your day and be grateful for the meetings, the companies, and the words that have done you good. Look at the experience and discover when you have felt free in your actions and in harmony with your neighbor. How could you preserve and cultivate those attitudes going forward?
