With Jesus in the morning
Welcome the new day with joy and enthusiasm, looking forward to the Lord’s mission. You are invited to be the protagonist of the construction of the Kingdom, of bringing Christ to your local community. “The new evangelization must involve a new role for each one of the baptized.” Do you dedicate your time and talents to missionary or pastoral activities? Do you train to actively participate in pastoral activities in your community? The mission of the Church is a challenge for you too. “Repay to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God” (Matthew 22:15-21). Our Father….

With Jesus during the day
Take a break in the middle of the day and recognize how the Lord is waiting for you. The key word in step four of The Way of the Heart is “encounter.” Do you recognize in your life encounters that have changed your life, in which you have felt a profound transformation? The Gospel tells us about Jesus’ encounters with the sick, the suffering, the hurting who have been healed by the transforming power of compassion. You are invited to act as the Heart of Jesus, full of mercy in the face of all human misery. Do your gestures rebuild lives or tear it apart?

With Jesus in the night
Quiet your heart at the end of the day. Give thanks to God for everything that has happened since the morning. What situations was a problem for you today? Become aware of your mood in each of these situations. Do you sow hope or get discouraged and spread discouragement in others? It is also up to you to build a hopeful and open world to others. How could you build hope tomorrow? Think about a resolution that will help you grow in God’s love. Hail Mary…
