新しい一日を神に感謝し、主の御声に心を開きましょう。「むしろ、幸いなのは神の言葉を聞き、それを守る人である」（ルカ11:27-28）。洗礼によって、信徒は使徒となるように、自分自身の共同体の中で神の御国が培われ、成長するのを助けるパン種となるように呼ばれています。教皇フランシスコの言うとおり、「信徒はまさに神の民の大多数」なのであり、世界中の隅々にまで広がり派遣されているのです。「全世界に行って神の御国を告げ知らせる」という呼びかけをあなたは感じていますか。天におられる…

このひと時、自分自身の心を見つめる時間を取りましょう。「聖心の道」の第2ステップは、心を呼び覚まし、わたしたちが、見返りを求めない主の無償の愛に、愛をもって常に応えていないことに気づくようにと、招きます。わたしたちの態度は時々人を傷つけ、また人から傷つけられもします。わたしたちは望まない悪を行い、望んでいる善を行わないのです。しかし、わたしたちがうまく愛せない時、それでも主は、いつもわたしたちを赦してくださいます。今日、あなたが謝らなければならないのは誰に対してでしょうか。罪人でありながら、キリストのミッションに呼ばれた者であることを、思い起こしましょう。

深呼吸をして、目を閉じましょう。今日一日を見つめ、いただいた特別な恵みを確認して、神に感謝しましょう。今日あなたに起こった恐れ、不信、怒りの感情について、心の中を探してみましょう。これらの感情を引き起こしたものは何でしょうか。それらの感情はあなたの心の中にどんなメッセージを残しましたか。経験したことを神にお捧げし、神がその愛で抱きしめてくださるように願いましょう。明日のための決意を書き出してみましょう。アヴェ・マリア…

With Jesus in the morning
Give thanks to God for a new day and open your heart to the voice of the Lord. “Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it” (Luke 11:27-28). The laity are called by baptism to be apostles, leaven that ferments and helps the Kingdom grow in their communities. As Pope Francis says, “the laity are simply the vast majority of the People of God” and are scattered throughout the world and can reach every corner. Do you feel the call to “go all over the world announcing the Kingdom of God”? Our Father….

With Jesus during the day
At this time of day take time to look at your heart. Step two of The Way of the Heart invites you to awaken your heart and recognize that we do not always respond with love to the gratuitous love of the Lord. Our attitudes sometimes hurt and we are hurt by others too. We do the evil that we do not want and not the good that we desire. Yet, the Lord always forgives when our hearts fail to love well. Who needs your apology today? Remember that you are a sinner called to the mission of Christ.

With Jesus in the night
Take a deep breath and close your eyes. Look at the day, acknowledge any special graces you received and give thanks to God for them. Search your heart for those feelings of fear, distrust and anger that surrounded you today. What caused these feelings? What message did they leave within you? Offer the experience to God and ask him to embrace you in his love. Write down a resolution for tomorrow. Hail Mary…
