日中イエスと共に
「神の言葉は率直に、それどころか、力強く勇気を持って告げねばなりません。パウロが言うように、骨まで染み渡るように」（教皇フランシスコ）。わたしは、み言葉を知らせるにあたって次のような性質を持つことができるよう主に祈ります。力強さ――み言葉を告げるための力と熱意。勇気――み言葉について情熱的であると同時に、み言葉を生きるにあたって問題にひるまないこと。自覚――自分一人では何もできないということを理解するために。わたしは神の道具に過ぎません。謙虚さ――わたしが虚栄心に支配されず、主に集中し続けられるように。祈り――聖霊の働きのうちにとどまり、きょうだいたちの心を動かすために。

Before the Father of kindness, I begin this day with a heart full of gratitude for life. I ask God to give me the grace to be attentive to the needs of others, strengthening the bonds of love and care, especially with those who live in my house, my family. I join with Pope Francis’ intention this month, offering my day for families to be accompanied with love, respect and guidance. Our Father…

With Jesus during the day
“The word of God must be announced frankly, that is, openly; even vigorously, with courage, so that it penetrates, as Paul says, to the bones”(Pope Francis). I ask the Lord to have the following characteristics in the announcement of the Word. Vigor: energy and enthusiasm to proclaim it. Courage: being passionate about the Word and facing the challenges to live it. Consciousness: to understand that alone I can do nothing, I am only an instrument in the hands of God. Humility: that I am not dominated by vanity and need to stay focused on the Lord. Prayer: to be under the action of the Holy Spirit and to touch the hearts of my brothers.

Find a quiet place. Take a deep breath and close your eyes. Think about the various moments of the day. What did you feel called to do today? What person do you feel you are being called to be? Think about what you could do tomorrow that brings you closer to that call. Hail Mary…
