On this first Friday of the month, I thank my family for helping me to be who I am. I ask God to help me not to be skeptical and suspicious, but to embrace challenges and not to doubt his presence, even in moments of weakness. With Jesus during the day
“Put your finger here and see my hands, and bring your hand and put it into my side, and do not be unbelieving, but believe.” (John 20:27) Thomas needed to see in order to believe. From time to time I also take this stance, especially in times of doubt and anguish. However, I remember Jesus’ words: “Happy are those who believe without having seen.” Being able to receive and worship His Body and Blood is enough to be totally united with him and feel his physical and real presence in my life. So I pray: Increase my faith, Lord!

Close your eyes and take a deep breath. How do you feel in this moment? Ask Jesus to show you the little details of today. What moments were significant for you?
