朝イエスと共に
マグダラの聖マリアを祝う今日、自らの生き方を通して神の言葉を広めようと働いているすべての人々のために神に感謝しましょう。「わたしにすがりつくのはよしなさい。まだ父のもとへ上っていないのだから。わたしの兄弟たちのところへ行って、こう言いなさい。『わたしの父であり、あなたがたの父である方、また、わたしの神であり、あなたがたの神である方のところへわたしは上る』と」（ヨハネ20：17）。キリスト者である私たちは他の人々にイエスを伝えるよう招かれています。私たちの生き方によって福音を証しし、教会というこの信仰者の集いに加わるよう、招かれています。教皇による今月の意向に心を合わせて、私の今日一日をすべての家族のためにお捧げします。栄光は父と子と聖霊に…

日中イエスと共に
「私にとって神の存在は、失うことが不可能なほどとても近しいもので、私の魂に説明不可能な喜びを与えるのです」（聖パウリーナ）。 イエスの近くにいることは真の恵みです。マグダラの聖マリアは、イエスの復活を他の人々に知らせるために、イエスによって選ばれました。 私も、彼女のように、救いをもたらすイエスの存在、私のためのイエスの犠牲を自分自身の人生の中に見出していくことができますように。イエスに従い、イエスを愛し、イエスをすべての人々に伝える忠実さの恵みを主に願い求めます。主イエスの力と喜びが、私の人生の中に映し出され、私が毎日ともに過ごしている人々を照らし出しますように。

With Jesus in the morning
On this day when we celebrate St. Mary Magdalene, we give thanks to God for all who work to spread the word of God with their lives. “Stop holding on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am going to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God” (John 20:17). As Christians, we are called to share Jesus with others. We are called to bear witness to the Gospel with our lives and to participate in this great community of believers that is the Church. With Jesus during the day
“The presence of God is so intimate to me that it seems impossible to lose it, and this presence gives my soul a joy that I cannot explain” (St. Pauline). Being close to Jesus is a real gift. Mary Magdalene was chosen by Jesus to announce his resurrection to others. May I, like her, learn to recognize the saving presence of Jesus in my life, his sacrifice for me. I ask the Lord for the gift of fidelity to follow him, to love him and to proclaim him to all. May his strength and joy be reflected in my life and enlighten those with whom I live in my daily life.

Give thanks to God for another day. Review the many graces you have received today. Who was the face of God for you today? When did God come to you through the words and actions of your neighbor?
