朝イエスと共に
新しい日を始めるにあたって、イエスと一致して生きたいと願います。「自分の命を得る者は、それを失い、私のために命を失う者は、それを得るのである」（マタイ10：39）。他者のために与えられた命のうちにある単純な信頼のうちに宿る真の喜びを、イエスはわたしに示してくださいます。特に今日一日の最も小さく静かな行いのうちに、わたしが主の愛への招きに応えることができるようイエスの助けを願います。また、わたしの身近にいるすべての家族に寄り添う心を与えてくださるよう、イエスに祈ります。教皇フランシスコの意向に一致して、今日一日をそうした家族のために捧げます。栄光は父と子と聖霊に…

日中イエスと共に
「たった一つの愛の行いによって、わたしたちはイエスをもっとよく知ることができるようになります」（リジューの聖テレーズ）。わたしたちのうちで最も小さくされた人への親切な行為によって、主はすぐに喜ばれます。苦悩や孤独、病気や顧みられないことによって苦しむ人々に対するわたしの普段の態度はどのようなものでしょうか。人々の苦しみを少しでも軽くできるように、わたしは普段の生活の中で何かしているかを考えたいと思います。まだ何もしていないなら、そういった人たちを助けるために具体的に何ができるかを考えます。他者に対して思いやりを持ち、隣人に仕える最上の方法を見つけるお恵みを与えてくださるよう、主に祈ります。

自分が今感じていることについて考えてみましょう。あなたに喜びや希望を与えてくれる小さな出来事を神に感謝しましょう。今日一日の活動全体を振り返ってみてください。すべての行為において、命を選択しましたか。他者を愛したでしょうか。不機嫌になったり、怒ったりしたでしょうか。神と話し、明日は命を選び、他者を助け、他者の笑顔のために働くことができるよう祈りましょう。アヴェ・マリア…

With Jesus in the morning
I want to live in union with Jesus as this new day begins. “Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it” (Matthew 10:39). Jesus shows me how true joy lies in the simple trust of a life given to others. I ask Jesus to help me accept his invitations of love, especially in the smallest and quietest gestures of this day. With Jesus during the day
“One single act of love will make us know Jesus better.” (St. Therese of Lisieux) How simple it is to please the Lord’s heart by making a gesture of kindness to the least among us. What are the attitudes that I usually have towards people who suffer from misery, loneliness, illness or abandonment? I will examine whether in my daily life I have done anything to lessen people’s suffering. If I still do nothing, I will see how I can make a concrete contribution to helping them. I ask the Lord for the grace to feel compassion for others and to find the best way to serve my neighbor.

Become aware of how you feel now. Give thanks to God for the little details that filled you with joy and hope. Look at the general activities of the day. Have you chosen life in all your actions? You have loved others? Were you in a bad mood or felt anger? Talk to God and commit tomorrow to choose life, to help others and serve them with a smile. Hail Mary…
