Begin this journey gratefully because you are a temple of the Lord. “My house shall be called a house of prayer” (Mk 11:11-26). Are you aware that your brothers and sisters are sacred ground? Many places practice torture, violating human respect and dignity. Today, we are called to collaborate with your prayer and your life to build a more human world. What actions to you want to enact today in this feeling? Pray with the Prayer Network on this monthly day of prayer for the intention of the pope. Our Father. (Team Argentina)

Reconnect with the Lord and rest in Him. Read with the pope’s words to see what ails his heart. He denounces those States that have “authorized the use of their airspace for illegal transportation to detention centers where torture is practiced. These abuses can only be stopped with the firm commitment of the international community to recognize the dignity of the human person above all else.” We all belong to the human community. Pray for this intention and respect your neighbor who is in the image and likeness of God. (Team Argentina)

Lord, I recognize myself as the withered fig tree because, at times when thinking about my responsibilities, I do not always trust You. Forgive me. Thank you for sustaining me, for making me reopen my eyes to life, for giving me the confidence that I lose at times. I ask you for tomorrow the grace to build with you what my heart desires. Give me strength to be a sign of your compassion by sharing with others. Hail Mary. (Team Italy)
