With Jesus in the morning
Receive this new day as a gift from God, focusing on the many reasons for being thankful. List them only a couple of them. Jesus calls you today to follow him: “Accompanying him were the Twelve and some women who had been cured of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary, called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out” (Lk 8:1-3). How do you get ready for your day with the Lord? Look at the journey that awaits you and wonder about who will cross your path. May each encounter be a chance to encounter Him and walk by his side. With Jesus during the day
How are you going about your day? Pause before continuing and think about your inner movements. As a Church we are going through synodality. Francis reminds us that: “synod” means walking together in the same direction. “… do we embody the style of God, who walks in history and shares the vicissitudes of humanity?”. What does it mean for you to walk with your brothers through these changing times? Ask the Lord for his discreet, respectful, and embodied style of walking with others. Then continue you journey hand in hand with Him.

With Jesus in the night
Another day is coming to a quiet end. Take a few minutes to gratefully remember all the good things you experienced today: the short encounters and the small moments that helped you grow. Do you feel the joy of having walked this day with others? What inner movements do you feel? What experiences did you leave having learned something? Ask the Lord to give you his safe step and his measured rhythm so as not to advance or delay your steps on the road with your neighbor. If you see that you must restore a broken link, do it without delay and give yourself well needed rest. Hail Mary…
