With Jesus in the morning
Today Jesus gives you the gift of joining in his mission of compassion. Thank him for the confidence he has in you with His task. Look at your day in prayer: the encounters you will have and those that will pass your way. Don’t go in a hurry, pay attention to the cries of those who are suffering silently around you. “When the Lord saw her, he was moved with pity for her and said to her, “Do not weep.” (Lk 7:11-17). You are invited to give your life you received today to your surroundings. A smile, a hug, or a loving look to another can make all the difference to your neighbor. Offer yourself today. Our Father…

With Jesus during the day
Leave your activities for a moment to rest in God’s hands. Notice how you feel and abandon yourself to the heart of God. Pope Francis dreams in this Synod that we return to the Lord’s way of being. “God’s style is closeness, compassion, and tenderness. This is what God has always done. If we do not go to this Church of proximity with attitudes of compassion and tenderness, we will not be the Church of the Lord.” When you are compassionate you give back to the church its true face. Dare to be close and thus transmit life in your surroundings.

With Jesus in the night
Regain your strength in the silence of the afternoon and thank God for the love he gives you through those who love you. Let the people who crossed paths with you today parade in your mind. Did you have any difficulty? Did you take care of those friendships? Did you let love win over offenses? Ask for forgiveness if you need it: ‘Father, give me the compassion that you give me’. Take the opportunity to receive renewed grace of mercy from him and repaira y damages caused today tomorrow. And please pray for the abolition of unjust laws that condemn those to death. Hail Mary…
