主に「あなたのミッションにおいてわたしを頼ってください」とお伝えすることから一日を始めましょう。この待降節の時に、わたしたちは、わたしたちと兄弟姉妹の人生に主が入ってきてくださるよう「道」を用意します。「洗礼者ヨハネが荒れ野に現れて、罪の赦しを得させるために悔い改めの洗礼を宣べ伝えた」（マルコ1:1‐8）。主にあなたの存在を知らせましょう。あなたの仕草が、命の主の道、主をお迎えする心の準備を助けるものとなりますように。「主よ、洗礼者ヨハネのように、わたしが愛と奉仕とゆるしの行ないによって、兄弟たちの道を切り拓くことができるよう助けてください」。今日の捧げをしましょう。天におられる…

主にお会いするための時間を取りましょう。教皇はわたしたちに「バルティマイの話から分かるように、信仰は叫びです。無信仰はその叫びを押し殺すことです。・・・信仰は、理由の分からない苦しい状況に対しての抗議です。無信仰は我々が慣れてしまった状況に耐えることに限定されています」とおっしゃいます。わたしたちから痛みが取り去られることはありませんが、主はあなたの抗議、叫びを受け入れ、あなたの求めを聞いてくださいます。主はあなたのもとに来て、慰めをあたえる同伴者となってくださいます。この信頼をもって、捧げを新たにしましょう。

With Jesus in the morning
Start a new day by telling the Lord that he can count on you for his mission. In this season of Advent we prepare “the way” for the Lord to reach our lives and that of our brothers and sisters. “John appeared baptizing in the desert proclaiming a baptism of conversion” (Mark 1: 1-8). Announce the Lord with your presence. May your gestures help prepare the way and prepare hearts to welcome the Lord of Life. “Lord, like John the Baptist, help me to open paths to my brothers with gestures of love, service and forgiveness.” Make your offering for today. With Jesus during the day
Make time to meet the Lord. The Pope tells us that “faith, as we have seen in Bartimaeus, is a cry; non-faith is to stifle that cry…Faith is a protest against a painful condition for which we do not understand the reason; non-faith is limited to suffering a situation to which we have adapted.” Remember that pain will not be spared us, but the Lord welcomes your protest, your cry and hears your need. He comes to you and becomes a comforting companion on the road. Renew your offering with this confidence.

Today you end the week. Review the most important thing that you have experienced in it. Who do you want to thank? What gifts did the Lord give you this week? Were you offended by anything that you have not been able to forgive? Free yourself from pending worries and put them in God’s hands to start a new week. Hail Mary…
