新しい一日を迎え入れ、今日、教皇の意向のために祈る月例の日を祝う多くの兄弟姉妹の祈りに参与する準備をしましょう。今月、教皇フランシスコは、イエス・キリストとのパーソナルな関係が神のみ言葉と祈りの生活によって養われるように、わたしたちを祈りへと招いています。イエスはわたしたちの祈りに耳を傾け、わたしたちの一番深い望みに参与したいと望んでおられます。わたしたちの深い望みこそは、わたしたちがイエスと出会う場なのです。「『あなたがたの信じているとおりになるように』といわれると、二人は目が見えるようになった」（マタ9：27-31）。今日、主とともにとどまる時間を取りましょう。天におられる…

With Jesus in the morning
Welcome the new day and get ready to join thousands of brothers and sisters who today celebrate the Monthly Day of Prayer for the Pope’s intention. This month Pope Francis invites us to pray so that our personal relationship with Jesus Christ is nourished by the Word of God and by a life of prayer. Jesus listens to our prayer and wants to join our deepest desire, which is where he finds us. “May it be done to you according to your faith. And their eyes were opened” (Mt 9: 27-31). Take a break to calibrate your heart. The Pope tells us that, “Jesus hears their cry. Bartimaeus’ prayer touches his heart, the heart of God, and the doors of salvation open for him. Jesus calls to him. He jumps up.” This afternoon the Lord also listens to you and calls you. Pay attention to the voice of the Lord that resounds in your heart and in the events of your life. Join your prayer with that of your brothers and sisters who wish to cultivate a personal friendship with Jesus founded on a life of prayer.

Get ready to close the day. Review what you have experienced since dawn and be grateful for any special grace received. What opportunities has God given you: at work, with family, with friends, in the community? How have you responded? Carrying out the daily routine with love and total surrender is a heroic virtue. Have you been faithful in the little things of today? Reflect on today and make a resolution to grow in fidelity. Hail Mary…
