主が与えてくださったこの特別な日に、少し休憩を取って、飼い葉桶の前で祈りましょう。教皇は次のように語っています。「だからこそ、主なる神の力は、この世界の中でしばしば誤解され疎外されている男性・女性のつながりを通して行き渡るのです。これらの僕たちが祈りで引き付ける神の力のおかげで、世界は生きかつ成長するのです。それは決してにぎやかで騒がしいつながりではありません。めったに話題になりませんが、しかし世界への信頼を回復するために、それはとても重要なものなのです」。みどりごイエスとともに祈りましょう。

With Jesus in the morning
Merry Christmas! “For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord” (Luke 2:11). Today, take the day to stay with the Lord and accompany the Nazareth family in the manger. A dirty place with farm animals, very lowly. But the presence of the Child Jesus makes it worthy, beautifies it, and transforms it into a place for salvation. With Jesus during the day
On this very special day that the Lord has given to us, take a break to pray before the manger. The Pope tells us that, “This is why God’s lordship passes through this chain of men and women, often misunderstood or marginalized in the world. But the world lives and grows thanks to the power of God whom these servants attract with their prayer. It is not at all a boisterous chain, and rarely makes headlines, yet it is so important to restoring trust to the world!” Pray with the Child Jesus.

Pause for a few moments and give thanks for one more day. Breathe slowly and regain inner silence. Go through all your experiences in your heart. What has been beautiful and has amazed you today? Have you discovered goodness or good things that you have been invited to contemplate and enjoy? Landscapes, people, gestures, works of art, places, or conversations?
