わたしたちが新たな誕生にむけて心を準備するこの待降節と、今日という新しい日を与えてくださったことを主に感謝しましょう。「わたしにつまずかない人は幸いである」（ルカ7:19-23）。主は今日、あなたのうちに主を迎え入れ、あなたのうちで働くご自身の証人となるようにあなたを招いておられます。あなたの存在と人生は、主のみ業と愛の証です。あなたは他の人達にとって、神からの贈り物だからです。あなたは兄弟姉妹たちと分かち合い、彼らに捧げるべきものとして何を持っていますか。今日、隣人に仕えるために何をしたいですか。天におられる…

教皇の招きに応え、この午後、祈るために時間を少し時間を作りましょう。「契約の神秘に入り、皆でこのように祈りましょう。神の憐れみ深い御腕の中で祈りに入り、三位一体の生であるところの幸福の神秘に包まれていることを感じ、そのような名誉に値しない客人のように感じること。そして神に向かって繰り返し、祈りの驚きのうちに『あなたは愛しかご存知ないということはあり得るのでしょうか』と尋ねましょう。」すべてを受け入れてくださる主の抱擁に出会い、入っていく準備をしましょう。

With Jesus in the morning
Thank the Lord for a new day and this season of Advent in which we prepare our hearts for a new birth. “Blessed is the one who takes no offense at me” (Luke 7:19-23). The Lord invites you today to receive him in your life and be a witness of his work in you. Your presence and your life are a testimony of the Lord’s work and of his love because you are a gift for others. What do you have to offer and share with your brothers and sisters? Take a moment this afternoon to pray as the Pope invites us: “Let us all try to pray in this way, entering into the mystery of the Covenant. To get into prayer between the merciful arms of God, to feel enveloped by that mystery of happiness that is the Trinitarian life, to feel like guests who did not deserve so much honor. And to repeat to God, in the amazement of prayer. Is it possible that you only know love?” Prepare yourself to meet and enter into the embrace of the Lord who receives all.

Take a break to close the day. God has made himself present in the little things of today: the encounters, the tasks, the conversations, and nature. What are you thankful for? At what moment do you feel that God has spoken to your heart? Write down a word that you have heard from Jesus for yourself. Remember that God speaks to you in inner silence.
