午後を前にして、少し手を止めて祈りましょう。教皇は次のように語っています。「キリスト者の祈りは啓示から生まれます。わたしたちが神を『あなた』と呼ぶとき、神は謎に包まれたままの存在ではなく、わたしたちとの関係に入っておられるのです。…この神は隠されたままではなく、ご自身の友情を差し出されます」。祈りとは、友が友に語りかけるように、わたしたちを確かに愛しておられる友である方との友情について語っているのだ、ということを覚えておきましょう。主に話しかけ、あなた自身の心を主と分かち合いましょう。主はあなたを迎え入れてくださいます。

With Jesus in the morning
Be grateful for a new dawn and embrace what the day offers you as a gift. “Wisdom is vindicated by her works” (Matthew 11:16-19). Take time to savor what you have experienced: your encounters, work, food, places; be grateful for all of them. The gift of God is present in all reality. The reality speaks of the immensity of God’s love in your life. What could you discover today? Where could the Lord show you his Love? Give thanks to God and offer it at the beginning of this day. With Jesus during the day
Pause your day to pray before continuing your afternoon. The Pope tells us that “the Christian’s prayer is born from a revelation: the ‘You’ has not remained shrouded in mystery, but has entered into relationship with us…this God does not remain hidden, but offers his friendship.” Remember that prayer is talking about friendship, as a friend talks to another, with the Friend that we know loves us. Talk to the Lord, share your heart with Him. He welcomes you.

With Jesus in the night
Rest in the presence of God at the end of the day. Take some time to examine through your heart, what you have experienced today. From what God gave you today, which moments do you keep in your heart? Stay savoring the beautiful things that happened to you today. Be grateful and keep the experiences that have helped you grow. Offer what you have experienced and propose to start another journey with gratitude tomorrow. Hail Mary…
