「わたしたちは神への愛を生きた行動に変えなければなりません」（コルコタの聖テレサ）。神と共に歩むなら、単に愛の「感情」を持っているだけでは十分ではありません。感情や言葉を超えてその先に進む必要があります。わたしたちが真に親切で寛大な行動をするなら、わたしたちは、傷を癒し、弱者を養い、絶望した人々に希望を与えることができます。神の大いなる愛がわたしの心にあふれて、わたしの周りの人々に影響を与えていくのは、ひとえに行動によってなのです。神を愛することは、困っている人のために具体的に行動することです。そしてそのためにはまず、自分自身の家族から始めなければなりません。

With Jesus during the day
“We must transform our love for God into living action” (Saint Teresa of Calcutta). It is not enough to simply have “feelings” of love when walking with God. It is necessary to go beyond feeling and words. In our actions of true kindness and generosity, we can heal wounds, feed the weak, and give hope to the desperate. It is in actions that the greatness of God’s love can overflow in my heart and infect those around me. To love God is to act concretely on behalf of those in need, and I must start first in my own family.
