朝イエスと共に
ためらうことなくイエスに従う
一日を始めるにあたり、主と兄弟姉妹を愛し、仕える新たな機会に感謝しましょう。
今日の福音の言葉を思い浮かべてください： 「このとおり、わたしたちは何もかも捨ててあなたに従って参りました」（マコ 10:28）。「イエスは私たちに友情を差し出しておられ、それはイエスのイニシアチブなのです。その中で、私たちはイエスの呼びかけに耳を傾け、その呼びかけに応じること、つまり、私たちの生活状況や私たちが生きている歴史的時代における具体的な応答をするよう招かれているのです」（ステップ5『心の道』）。
イエスの招きに忠実に成長するために、何をあきらめ、何を捨てる必要がありますか？「イエスを見つめている人は誰でも、仕えるために生きることを学びます。その人は、他人が始めるのを待つのではなく、隣人を求めに行くのです…」（教皇フランシスコ）。
今月の祈りの意向のために捧げる祈りを祈りましょう。

すべてを手放す
今日の午後、一息ついて、主に視線を向け、今日一日をどのように生きているかを自覚してください。
シスター、修道者、神学生はイエスのためにすべてを捨てており、彼らの全生涯はイエスに従うことを指向しています。彼らが忠実に、首尾一貫して生き、その献身の羅針盤を失わないように、皆さんの祈りによって、彼らがこの人生の選択において強められますように。「…人生の道を進むためには、自分から “余分なもの “を取り除くことが必要です。なぜなら、よく生きるということは、無駄なもので自分を満たすことではなく、余分なものから自分を解放し、自分の内面を深く掘り下げ、神の前に本当に大切なものを把握することだからです」(教皇フランシスコ)。
あなた自身の従順な応答が主に固定されているかどうか、主にのみ望みを置いているかどうかをチェックしてください。

終わろうとしている一日を振り返ってください。あなたが生きてきた瞬間、出会った人々、受けた祝福、できた善に感謝していますか。
困難なことも、単純なことも、あなたを傷つけたことも、あなたを喜ばせたことも、すべてを主の御手に委ね、主に身を委ねることによって、休息の準備をしましょう。
明日はどのようにスタートしたいですか？どんな望みがありますか？あなたが主の御手の中にいることを思い出し、すべてを主に委ね続けることを誓います。
天におられる私たちの父よ…。

With Jesus in the morning
Following Jesus without hesitation
As you begin the day, give thanks for another opportunity to love and serve the Lord and your brothers and sisters.
Think of the words of today’s Gospel: “Lord, you see, we have left everything to follow you” (Mk 10:28). “Jesus offers us his friendship, and so it is his initiative. In it we are invited to give a response of listening and availability to his call, a concrete response in our life situation and in the historical time we are living” (Step Five The Way of the Heart).
What does you following Jesus look like, what do you need to give up or abandon in order to grow in fidelity to his invitation? “Whoever has his gaze on Jesus learns to live to serve. He does not wait for others to begin, but goes out to seek his neighbor…” (Pope Francis).
Pray the offering prayer for this month’s prayer intention.

With Jesus during the day
Letting go of everything
Take a break this afternoon to turn your gaze to the Lord and become aware of how you are living the day.
The sisters, religious and seminarians have left everything for Jesus, their whole life is oriented to follow him. With your prayers may they be strengthen in this choice of life, so that they may live in fidelity, with coherence and that they may not lose the compass of their dedication. “…to proceed on the path of life, it is necessary to divest oneself of the “extra”, because to live well does not mean to fill oneself with useless things, but to free oneself from the excess, to dig deep within oneself, to grasp what is truly important before God” (Pope Francis).
Check if your own response of following is anchored in the Lord, if only in Him have you placed your hope.

Abandoning yourself to the Lord
Look back on the day that is ending. Are you grateful for the moments you have lived, the people you’ve encountered, the blessings you have received and the good you have been able to do.
Prepare yourself for rest by abandoning yourself to the Lord, placing everything in His hands, the difficult, the simple, what hurt you, what made you happy.
How do you want to start tomorrow? What desires do you have? Remember that you are in the Lord’s hands and I commit yourself to Him to continue leaving everything for Him.
