With Jesus in the morning
I wake up and recognize, little by little, how tenderly I am looked at by the Father in Heaven, who wants to give me his Spirit through Jesus. Jesus said to his disciples: “Hear then the parable of the sower” (Matthew 13:18). I thank Jesus for the gift of prayer, of being able to ask him the meaning of his words, and to explain, from heart to heart. I thank God who accompanies me with love, respect and advice. With Jesus during the day
“I pray to God our Lord to grant everyone abundant grace to always know his most holy will and to fulfill it” (St. Ignatius of Loyola). In my life, I had people who sowed seeds in my heart so that I would be enlightened by the Gospel. Who were these people? Who are the ones currently helping me to persevere on this path? I think of everyone who helped me to walk in faith and I thank the Lord for allowing me to meet these very special people. I put these names in my prayer today and ask the Lord to keep my heart open to welcome others and practice his will.
