聖霊降臨祭
夜明けです。今日は聖霊降臨の日曜日だ。聖霊の象徴：風、生命の息吹。
神の言葉を思い起こしましょう： 「あなたがたに平和があるように。父がわたしをお遣わしになったように、わたしもあなたがたを遣わす。」 そう言ってから、彼らに息を吹きかけて言われた。「聖霊を受けなさい。」（ヨハネ20：21-22）。その場面を想像し、その中に身を置き、イエスがどのように息を吹きかけ、聖霊で満たしてくださるかを感じてください。
「今日、この祝日に、自分に問いかけてみてください： 聖霊の調和に従順であるか、それとも聖霊によって自分を変えられることなく、自分の考えに従っているか。あなたの信仰の生き方は聖霊に従順ですか」（教皇フランシスコ）。
私たちを導いてくださる聖霊によって霊感を受けることができるように、養成中の修道男女のために捧げる祈りを捧げましょう。 「人生という偉大な旅路において、主は私たちがどこから始め、どのような道を歩み、どのように歩むべきかを教えてくださいます」（教皇フランシスコ）。

聖霊とともに
一日の中で一時停止し、聖霊の働きをどのように感じたかを自覚してください。その力と愛であなたを満たし続けてくださるよう、主にお願いしてください。
次の祈りをもって、教皇の祈りの意向に自分を合わせてください：「聖霊は、教会がその使命において、イエスとの出会いから湧き出る喜びを、新たな熱意をもって、常にあかしし、告げ知らせることができるように、教会を駆り立ててくださいます： 私たちは今日、修道女性、修道男性、神学生のためにあなたに祈ります。彼女たちが “聖霊による福音宣教者 “となり、聖霊の働きかけに恐れずに自らを開き、勇気をもって神の偉大さを告げ知らせることができるように」(教皇フランシスコ)。
養成中の神学生のために今月の祈りを祈りましょう。

With Jesus in the morning
Pentecost
It is dawn, take a deep breath. Today is Pentecost Sunday. A symbol of the Holy Spirit: the wind, the breath of life.
Reflect on the Word of God: “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit'” (Jn 20:21-22). Imagine the scene and put yourself in it, feeling how Jesus breathes and fills you with the Holy Spirit.
“Today, on this feast, ask yourself: Are you docile to the harmony of the Spirit or do you follow your ideas, without letting yourself be transformed by Him? Is your way of living the faith docile to the Spirit?” (Pope Francis).
Offer a prayer offering for religious men and women in formation so that they may allow themselves to be inspired by the Holy Spirit who guides us “In the great journey of life, He teaches us where to begin, what paths to take and how to walk” (Pope Francis).

Pause in your day and become aware of how you have perceived the action of the Holy Spirit in your day. Ask Him to continue to fill you with his strength and love.
Unite yourself to the Pope’s prayer intention with the following prayer: “Holy Spirit, you impel the Church so that, in her mission, she may always witness and announce, with renewed enthusiasm, the joy that springs from the encounter with Jesus: We pray to you today for religious women, men religious and seminarians, that they may be “evangelizers with Spirit”, who fearlessly open themselves to the action of the Holy Spirit and courageously announce the greatness of God” (Pope Francis).
Pray the prayer of the month for the seminarians in formation.

This day is about to end. Today we celebrate the Solemnity of Pentecost. Review your day: did you live today with Spirit, full of enthusiasm, full of life?
Thank the Lord for this gift that encourages us in the mission of compassion for the world.
Meditate on these words of Pope Francis: “Call upon the Holy Spirit every day.” “When you receive him, the Holy Spirit makes you enter more and more into the heart of Christ so that you may be ever more filled with his love, his light and his strength” (Pope Francis). End your day by invoking: Come Holy Spirit!
