With Jesus in the morning
Welcome this day that begins as a gift the Lord prepared especially for you. Review the graces you have received and thank the Lord for them. In the Word, Jesus gives us the key to being in and making a family: “My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and act on it” (Lk 8: 19-21). Do you prioritize faith in your relationships? Do you recognize the Father as the source of the love you give to your brother? Do you seek in the Word the light that leads you to love others better? Ask the Lord to help you purify your affections to love more and better. Our Father…

With Jesus during the day
Pause your day and rest. How are you going through the day? Who are you sharing it with? Keep in mind that we are linked to each other, we are an ecclesial body and members of the great human family. “The purpose of this Synod…is to forge new and deeper relationships, learn from each other, build bridges, enlighten minds, inflame hearts and invigorate our hands for our common mission.” (Vademecum Synod). Extract each verb from this sentence and seek to capture them in your daily life. Jesus is counting on you today.

With Jesus in the night
Close the day thanking the Lord for what he has given. What special grace do you recognize today? Look at your attitudes, the way you relate to your sisters and brothers. Do you feel that your way of proceeding takes care of and strengthens those bonds? Do you welcome their weaknesses, promote them and help them? Make a resolution to act caring for life in daily dealings with others. Hail Mary…
