With Jesus in the morning
Praised be to God for this beautiful new dawn in which I experience the greatness of your love and the beauty of Your Creation. In your son, St. Francis of Assisi, you teach me to deepen my life of prayer and dedication to others, with a spirit of docility and absolute abandonment into Your loving hands. I dispose my mind and heart to meditate and listen to the words of the Lord in the Gospel of the day: “Mary has chosen the better part, and it will not be taken from her” (Luke 10: 38-42). Lord teach me to discern, to choose everything that opens me to life. What specific things will guide my life today? Our Father.

With Jesus during the day
I pause and take a moment to open myself up to the call of the Gospel, living fully. Pope Francis affirms that “A synodal Church is a participative and co-responsible Church. In the exercise of synodality, it is called to articulate the participation of all, according to the vocation of each one…” Am I aware of the gifts that the Lord has given me to put at the service of the church? I ask the Lord for the grace to open my heart to the action of the Holy Spirit to recognize my gifts. I reset my heart with this new purpose in mind.

With Jesus in the night
Gently enter the stillness of the declining day, and give thanks for every gift from God. Were you able to share what you received today in time and in happiness? Did you seek service, or did you withdraw into yourself? Did you take into account the Pope’s monthly intention? Ask for forgiveness if you need it, and make a resolution to start over tomorrow renewed in love. Hail Mary.
